ANGELUS, rare waterproof chronograph from the 1940s-1950s with a black gilt dial - in excellent condition

ANGELUS, a splendid and rare waterproof chronograph from the 1940s-1950s, with a black gilt dial with gold accents. Waterproof steel case with waterproof push-buttons. Beautiful original black gilt dial with gold accents, Arabic numerals and gold hands with partial luminous treatment. Hand-wound mechanical movement, Angelus caliber 215, in perfect working order, having been completely and professionally serviced by our watchmaker. Plastic crystal. The watch is in overall excellent condition, original in every part, and is being sold with the following accessories:

- new generic ostrich leather strap, natural leather color, with generic steel buckle;

- written guarantee of authenticity and proper functioning issued by our shop;

- generic box from our shop;

Case: waterproof, two-piece steel, with unique elongated and faceted lugs, snap-on case back. Waterproof push-button chronograph pushers. Stepped steel bezel. The outer caseback features the inscription: Angelus - stainless steel - case number 266960. Case dimensions: 38mm (excluding crown) x 46mm (lug to lug). The overall condition of the case is truly excellent, with normal signs of use.

Era: Presumably produced in the 1940s or 1950s.

Dial: Original black with gold graphics (gilt dial), Arabic numerals, and gold-plated hands with partial luminous treatment. The central chronograph hand has been preserved in its original condition and shows traces of the original red varnish.

Movement: Hand-wound mechanical, Angelus caliber, 215 jewels, stamped Angelusangelus on the bridge, and completely original. In perfect working order, both as a watch and as a chronograph, having been completely and professionally serviced by our watchmaker.
