FAVRE LEUBA "BATHY 50" reference 53243, an extremely rare diving watch produced in the late 1960s, the first diver's watch in history with a mechanical depth gauge. Steel case with bidirectional rotating Bakelite bezel graduated for decompression times. Original screw-down crown with logo. Original matte black dial with mechanical depth gauge with 50-meter scale, original steel hands, and small seconds at 6 o'clock. Manual-wound mechanical movement, Peseux caliber 320, in perfect working order. Watch original in every detail and in exceptional condition, offered for sale with the following accessories:

- Original vintage strap by Corfam - Swiss made, in black synthetic material, Navy model 21mm 3160 / 1-534 - with original Favre Leuba steel strap;

- Written guarantee of authenticity and proper functioning from our shop and generic shop box;

Period: Made in the late 1960s;

Case: Three-piece steel with bidirectional rotating black Bakelite bezel graduated for decompression times. Screw-down case back with the following perfectly legible inscriptions: Favre Leuba logo and writing - Geneve - Bathy 50 - Super-waterproof - Swiss made - reference 53243 - case number 308. Original screw-down crown with Favre Leuba logo. Case dimensions: 40 mm (excluding crown) x 46 mm (lug to lug). The watch is offered in its original, truly exceptional condition. The case has never been polished or restored, with sharp edges and perfectly legible lettering.

Dial: Original, matte black, equipped with a mechanical depth gauge (red hand) with a 50-meter scale. Original steel hands with partial tritium treatment, luminous tritium indexes, white printed graphics, and a small seconds dial at 6 o'clock.

Movement: Manually wound mechanical, Peseux caliber 320, properly stamped Favre Leuba - Geneve. In perfect working order, having been serviced by our watchmaker.

Crystal: Original plexiglass.
