PRYNGEPS "ALARM - DIVER 5 ATM" extremely rare steel diving alarm watch - exceptional condition - made in the 1970s

PRYNGEPS "ALARM - DIVER 5 ATM" (like JENNY SEALAB) extremely rare men's diving watch, originally pressure tested to 5 ATM (50 meters), with alarm function, exceptional condition - made in the 1970s. (The same watch was produced by Jenny under the SEALAB name with the addition of an external rotating bezel). 39mm steel case, double screw-down steel caseback, one with holes that serve as a resonance chamber to amplify the alarm sound. Two large screw-down crowns. Two-tone iridescent blue dial with luminous tritium indexes, steel hands with partial tritium coating, and center seconds hand. Manually wound mechanical movement in perfect working order as a watch and as an alarm complication. The watch is original in every part and is in exceptional overall condition. It is offered for sale with the following accessories:

- splendid "NEWFLEX - HC" patented extendable strap, Swiss made, with a wetsuit extension integrated into the box and easily adjustable, suitable for even larger wrists;

Age: presumably early 1970s;

Case: steel, tonneau-shaped, two-piece case, featuring a double screw-down steel caseback, the outer one with holes that serve as a resonance chamber to amplify the sound of the alarm. Two large screw-down crowns, one at 2 o'clock for setting the alarm and one at 4 o'clock for setting the time. Case dimensions: diameter 39 mm (without crown) x 41 mm (lug to lug). The case is in exceptional condition, with an original sunburst finish and sharp edges, and some marks on the caseback.

Dial: Two-tone iridescent blue with luminous tritium indexes, steel hands with partial tritium treatment, and center seconds hand.

Movement: Manually wound, in perfect working order as a watch and alarm, having been completely and professionally serviced by our watchmaker.

Crystal: Original plastic crystal.
