UNIVERSAL GENEVE "UNI - COMPAX" reference 12445 - rare chronograph with 18k (750/°°) rose gold case, made in 1950. Rose gold case with smooth bezel, snap-on case back, and square chronograph buttons, properly hallmarked. Original champagne-colored dial with a pleasant, even patina, applied rose gold arrow markers and Arabic numerals, rose gold Alpha hands. Manually wound mechanical movement, caliber UG 285, in perfect working order as a watch and chronograph. The watch is in overall condition beyond excellent, and is offered for sale with the following accessories:

- generic dark brown crocodile strap with generic gold-plated buckle, new;

- Written guarantee of authenticity and proper functioning issued by our shop;

Era: Presumably produced in 1950;

Case: 18k (750/°°) rose gold, in three parts, with a smooth bezel and snap-on case back. The outer case back bears the serial number 1453090 and the reference 12445. Inside, we find: Universal Geneve logo - casemaker's hallmark - 18k (750/°°) gold fineness hallmark - casemaker's hallmark - Minerva head hallmark to identify Swiss-made 18k gold cases. Case dimensions: 34.5 mm diameter measured at the bezel (case excluding crown) x 40 mm (lug to lug). Case in overall excellent condition, free of significant marks, excellent polished and satin finishes, and sharp edges;

Dial: Original, champagne-colored with a pleasant, even patina, rose gold applied arrow indexes and Arabic numerals, rose gold Alpha hands. Black print at 12 o'clock: Universal Geneve. At 6 o'clock: Uni-Compax - Swiss.
