PHILIP WATCH “Caribbean 2000″ reference 156 - 1271, rare self-winding chronograph, originally tested at a depth of 1000 metres, monobloc case with a net diameter of 50mm, produced in the 1970s. Monobloc steel case, never polished or restored, in excellent condition, with pump chronograph pushers and original screw-locked crown. Bidirectional rotating bezel in black bakelite with graduation for decompression times. Original black dial with white subdials and white printed graphics. Self-winding mechanical movement with three counters, Buren caliber 12, in perfect working order as a watch and chronograph. Watch in more than excellent general conditions of conservation, offered for sale with the following kit:

– rare original Philip Watch Caribbean octagonal box in black, complete with original box cover;

– original Philip Watch warranty certificate, not filled in;

– original steel bracelet with large holes in the links, marked Philip Watch internally. Bracelet in exceptional storage conditions, also suitable for generous wrists;

Era: 70s;

Case: monobloc in steel, with pump chronograph pushers, original screw-locked crown with Caribbean logo. Bidirectional rotating bezel in black bakelite with graduation for decompression times, the bezel has a crack at 11 o'clock and some light imperfections but the general state of conservation is excellent. The caseback externally has all the engravings and patents perfectly legible as they have never been polished, we also find the reference 156 - 1271. Case dimensions: net diameter 50 mm (excluding crown). The case is in more than excellent conditions, never polished or restored with satin finish excellently preserved and writing on the caseback perfectly legible;

Dial: original black with white counters (the hour counter at 3 o'clock has a 5-minute division with alternating segments in yellow, red and white), buckshot indexes and white spheres with tritium treatment. Graphics printed in white, at 12 o'clock: Philip Watch Caribbean 2000 – 1000 meters writing. At 6 o'clock: automatic - Swiss. The dial presents in exceptional condition;

Movement: mechanical self-winding, Buren caliber 12, perfectly functional as a watch and chronograph;

Glass: domed mineral;
